GOALS: Enable, instruct and inspire students through an educational course that will culminate with 2, 3 hour sessions dedicated to tracking, mixing and mastering an EP for a local independent musician/group.  Student Records will provide the tools, environment and hands-on instruction necessary to assist each student in developing a solid understanding of the basic principles of the recording process.   In addition, Student Records will also encourage all of the students to take a realistic and hands on approach to their future musical endeavors.

Semester Information: Consists of 8 two hour classes and 2 three hour classes at a cost of $45/hr ($990.00 total)

Class size can range from 1-on-1 instruction to 4 students per/class

Class Size will never exceed more than 4 students per class.

Jason has been involved with music for over 25 years, first as a musician, and for the last 10 years as the partner, designer and lead audio engineer for NP Recording & Nice Package Disc Duplication.  Jason, a Towson University Graduate, was instrumental in the design, construction and installation of the studio at 5 W Chesapeake Avenue.  Regularly working with the best musicians in the Baltimore area, Jason has also had the opportunity to work with international artists such as Tears for Fears, Scott Stapp (formerly of Creed), Ricky Fante, Anna Nalick and more.
