The Baltimore Initiative has put the wheels in motion again and is gearing up for the much anticipated 2009 release. TBI ’09: In These Economic Times?! has already begun production, but is still accepting inquiries for a select number of bands to add to the 2009 roster.  Due to the success of New Blood ’08, the upcoming project will not only welcome the return of nearly every band from last year, but will also seek to increase the headcount.  There is no doubt that the success of New Blood ’08 wouldn’t have existed without the contributions of artists outside Baltimore’s city lines.  The ’09 project will again encourage the participation of artists from all over Baltimore, Annapolis, DC, etc to join in our efforts.  Baltimore is the home base for this movement and always will be, but our doors are open as we welcome new, creative and positive artists to our community.  With the much anticipated growth in population, other aspects of the project will increase as well.  Expect more shows, an incredibly insightful DVD with questions concerning the economy, health care, Iraq, etc (not at all actually), more elaborate packaging for the comp, private listening parties and more.  TBI ’09 is set to take the lessons learned and incredible experiences from the last year’s effort and factor it into the evolution of this movement.  TBI ’09 will only be as successful as the artists involved, so please check out the bands from New Blood ’08 and be sure to make an appointment to stop by the studio and discuss the project. Recording is already underway, so don’t miss out on your chance to cash in on TBI ’09: In These Economic Times?!
