TRACKING/MIXING

Gear can often times be a good indicator of a studio's quality, but it's important to understand that it's only part of the recording equation.  Included below is a quick view of some of the equipment that we use here at NP Recording, but we also request that you make an appointment to stop in to see the facility and actually listen to samples of our work.  Don't choose your next studio based on a meticulous equipment list, but rather the quality of its work and how the space makes you feel.

-An excellent sounding live room and isolation rooms
-32 Channel Yamaha O2R V2 Recording Console
-A nice collection of microphones
-1/2" Tascam ATR-60 8 Track
-1/2" Tascam ATR-60 2 Track
-7 piece Sonor house kit, various boutique guitar and bass rigs, vintage analogue synths (Prophet 5, ARP Omni, Juno 60, Poly 800, Mini-Korg, Sears Organ with a vacuum and the Magical Musical Thing)

NP LIVE RECORDING

Whether you’re just looking to add a few live tracks to your next release or are interested in creating a full length live album with an audience of your closest family, friends, and fans, NP Recording is the perfect outlet for your next project.

The most recent audience based live recording came from the Baltimore Music Project. It was a collaboration of two very stystically different Baltimore artists Caleb Stine and Saleem Heggins entitled "Outgrown These Walls". An audio sample can be heard in the player above.
